Sausalito, California

Sausalito, California, USA. I love this place cause there are great "cafes", great views, the Nature there is beautiful. Usually we love to go to Sausalito for a picnic, or to walk by the water, or to go to an italian coffee called "Cafe Trieste". There we drink smoothies, or have a coffee or a beer or eat pasta. Actually they have everything in there. But the last thing that happened to me at Cafe Trieste was very interesting, and there's nothing to do with their delicious food. On a beautiful Friday evening my friend Misha from TchecRepublic and I were enjoying the Sausalito and talking about our week. Our friends were in Hawaii and we missed them, but we decided not to stay home. So we went to Cafe Trieste and there was an american band there (bluesbossajazz.com) playing brazilian music. I asked for a song ("Wave" by Tom Jobim) and they played it so well. When I was ready to go home a guy called Zeche, who was playing the keyboards, asked me if I was a singer. I don't know why he asked me that, it's a God thing... I said yes, an then he invited me to sing with them. I left my purse in one of the tables, I was really shy an oh God... I was wearing my jeans, tennis, my hair was a mess, I was reeeeaaaally an au-pair that day. But you know what? Was a perfect evening for me. I sang "Wave" and "Chega de Saudade", was a gift from God in that day. I'll never forget people's face clapping hands and amazed by brazilian Bossa Nova :-) And when we went back to the car I was telling her how great was that evening, and she agreed with me. So... I turned on the radio... what did start to play on the radio? "If You Asked me too" by Celine Dion. PERFECT EVENING. And it was not the end of that beautiful evening. We were so happy and excited about what happened, and the sky had so many stars that we decided to go to the top of the hill where we can see Golden Gate Bridge. There we talked about the daily days in California - they are precious. I love this place. Thanks my friend Misha for that special day, we missed our friends, but God gaves us a gift taht we'll keep for life!
